BRING JOY TO LIFE – YOUR LIFE:  Presented by Mary O'Connor, author of Life Is Full of Sweet Spots  ̶  An Exploration of Joy

Do you wonder how and where to find joy, especially in this world of all too common sadness and suffering? Drawing from ordinary as well as remarkable ways in which artists, gardeners, mothers, fathers, and more, have personally found peace and contentment in life, Mary explores the richest and most fulfilling hiding places of joy. Learn ways to connect with the earth, the sea and sky, your body, mind and soul. Enjoy hands-on exercises to increase your powers of observation and creativity. Come away with new understanding of how the beauty and power of sweet spots can make you hum, learn, love, or simply smile. Smiles, after all, are the signature of joy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Writer, painter, poet, lover of nature and its mystery, curious explorer and traveler, Mary O'Connor resides on the Connecticut shoreline where she finds much of her inspiration for this surprising travel guide to happiness. It is that practice—the belief that joy is here to be found by all with open minds and hearts—that sparked the genesis of Life Is Full of Sweet Spots. Journalist, marketer, public relations counselor by profession, and advocate of the power of writing as an agent of change, she is a volunteer instructor of poetry at the York Correctional Institution in Niantic, Conn. Mary is the author of Dreams of a Wingless Child, a collection of widely received award-winning verses published in nature and inspirational journals.  www.mary-oconnor.com
